i'm finally ready to let this one go after living with it for six years! back in art school, i was tasked to paint a self portrait, and wanted to paint something that was both more universal and more personal than a traditional face portrait. this is what i painted. i used only three paints for the whole thing: burnt sienna, ultramarine blue, and titanium white.
